– Services for William Alexander, 79, former trucking firm manager and state
highway official, will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow in Wingler Funeral Home at
Coatsville. He died Tuesday in Putnam
County in Greencastle. Alexander was operations manager of Eastern Express
Motor Trucking Company. He also had
worked as superintendent of the State Highway Commission’s Crawfordsville
district. He was a member of the Groveland Masonic Lodge, Moose Lodge and Order
of Eastern Star. He also was a member of the Scottish Rite in Indianapolis and
York Rite in Greencastle. Survivors – wife Catherine; sons: William, Michael,
James, John, George, Keith; daughters – May Lou Wallace, JoEllen Gaston,
Shirlene King. - kbz
